The Welcome Ministry exists to help every person who enters our parish feel seen, guided, and received with Christian love.

 

Whether someone is visiting for the first time, returning after many years, or simply exploring the Orthodox faith, our hope is that they encounter a warm and peaceful presence from the moment they walk through the doors.

 

Orthodox worship is beautiful, reverent, and deeply meaningful—but it can also feel unfamiliar to newcomers. Our ministry helps visitors navigate the experience by offering simple guidance, answering questions, and helping connect guests with parish life, fellowship, and clergy.

 

Our team seeks to practice a quiet and personal hospitality rooted in the Gospel: not treating people as strangers, but as persons created in the image of God.

 

The Welcome Ministry assists with:

- Greeting visitors before services

- Helping newcomers feel comfortable during Liturgy

- Connecting guests with coffee hour and parishioners

- Assisting families and first-time visitors

- Answering basic questions about parish life and Orthodox worship
